Open Timing Belt

Open Ended Belting is available in metric and imperial pitches in both PU (Section 2-1) and neoprene (Section 2-2) construction.

Open Timing Belts can be joined endless to required length, either in the workshop or directly on the conveyor. If required, friction-reducing, wear resistant nylon fabric can be added on the tooth side to reduce friction and noise. Fabric can be applied to the belt back as well.

PU open timing belts are made of extruded, thermoplastic polyurethane with steel tension cords parallel to the edges. The belts are dimensionally stable and their precise positioning makes them ideal for use in linear drive systems.

Rubber open-end timing belts are reinforced with fiberglass cord, it provides compatibility with linear drive that need precise positioning for optimal performance.

FAQ

What is Open Timing Belt Drive ?

Open belt drives find extensive use across a range of applications, spanning from machinery and conveyor systems to vehicles. Their reputation for simplicity, ease of maintenance and cost-effectiveness has made them a favored option for systems where precise tension control isn’t essential.

What is the Use of PU Open Timing Belt ?
Polyurethane open-ended timing belts provide significant advantages to the food and beverage sector, especially in applications involving food contact packaging.
