GL6U8U Coil Wrapper Belts

GK1752 Cold, GK3CP 2DPU/1DPU Seamless Flat Belts are potential replacement belts for coil wrapper. Endless Flat Belts are used to coil the metal roll material (steel, aluminum, copper) of variable thickness.

Coil Wrapper Belts are placed around the mandrel of a coiling machine to direct the sheet material at the beginning of the coiling process. They are engineered for challenging environments and demonstrate excellent impact and cut resistance properties.

Coil Wrapper Belts are made from a consistently coated, seamless and continuous fabric, featuring specialized edges designed to prevent fraying and minimize wear. This ensures exceptional flexibility and prolonged belt durability. The top layer of these belts is made from durable polyurethane that resists wear and aging over time. This material remains unaffected by milling emulsion, preventing the covers from becoming hardened or cracked.

Application

Technology

At the beginning of the coiling process, a coiling machine’s mandrel is encircled by one or two wrapper belts. The flat sheet is inserted between the belts and the coiling mandrel, with the belts exerting pressure to induce the sheet to coil around the mandrel. Once the coiling mandrel completes several revolutions, the guidance of the sheet material becomes unnecessary. At this point, the wrapper belts disengage, allowing the coiling process to proceed rapidly. After achieving the desired length of coiled material, the sheet is severed, initiating the beginning of the next coiling operation.
