Self Tracking Timing Belt

Self Tracking Timing Belts combine steel reinforcement with welded or moulded V guides. It provide accuracy and linear drive. Self-tracking timing belts are made with two materials:

  • Wear resistant polyurethane
  • High tensile steel cord tension members.

FAQ

  • What is belt tracking?

Belt tracking refers to the capability to sustain control over the intended path of a conveyor belt following its alignment and installation.
Ensuring proper tracking of a newly installed metal conveyor belt is crucial, as frequently, the alignment of a new belt differs from that of the previous one.

  • What is a timing belt with V guide ?

Timing belts equipped with a v-guide are primarily utilized for linear guidance, as well as in vertical and rotary drive applications.
A v-guide is fitted either by welding it onto the timing side of an existing timing belt or by extruding the v-guide during manufacturing.
